Life. Some call it the greatest gift we have in our possession. Others will argue that life is just filled with pain and suffering and there is no reason for it. But, perhaps, life is our way of giving thanks to the God who gave it to us. It has been stated that, "Life is God's gift to us. What we do with it is our gift to God." - A. R. Bernard.

Think back on your life. . . have you done this? When you look at the life you have lived and the one you are living now, what does it tell you about that gift God has given you? Would He be honored by the life we are living? Would He be glorified by it? Would the heavens declare that our life is a beacon of hope for the universe? If not, why not?

It is tempting to believe that our lives are "our" lives. We are accountable to "no one" for what we do with our lives. But every generation realizes that this is not true. Our lives, that gift from God, touches thousands of lives; impact thousands of hearts; influences thousands of minds. If you only knew how one single choice you make has a lasting impact not only on you, but on all those that surround you. . . I imagine you would be more careful on the choices you make.

This Sabbath, I pray that you will realize that your life is a true miracle and gift from God. I pray that you will live a life that will honor, glorify, magnify, and return to God that gift of life that He has blessed you with. I pray that you will live in such a way that your life will make others desire Jesus as their Master and Savior.

So, until the next time, this is Pastor Tello reminding you that thoughts do change lives.
