If something was placed into your hands...what could you do? If it was a garden tool, what plants could you nurture? If it was a pen, what would you write about? If it was anything else...what would you do with what has been given you? God has placed into our lives "things" that he desires us to use for His glory.

Some of us have been given the gifts of song. Others the gift of giving. Still others the gift of articulation. Whatever God has given you, you are to use in order to advance the cause that is so desperately needed in our world today. While in the span of human history, there has always been a sense of confusion...there seems to be a greater sense today.

What is clear, the need of Christians to use what God has given hem as gifts to bless, help, transform, inspire, change, impact, and show the path of salvation is still efficacious today!

Moses was asked a question. "What do you have in your hand?" He responded with one word...a rod. With that rod, he led Israel of old through a journey that has even impacted Hollywood! It wasn't that the rod was special...no...it was that Moses used what God had given him to make an historical impact! A rod in the lands of Moses as he was led by God, because the tool used to part an entire sea!

A sermon thought in the mind of a great preacher, is the tool used by God to impact the hearer for all eternity. A musical gift in the hands of a child of God is a tool God uses to move the hardened heart of the sinner. Everything that God has given you...when placed in cooperation with God, can and will change human lives.

We are living in a world where many are seeking change...but lasting change is ever illusive. Lasting change, real change comes from the Master, Who has created every human being. We as Christians are privileged to share God will all we come in contact with using the gifts God has given unto us. Will you use your gifts in cooperation with God? Will you use what's in YOUR hands to help someone see how good God Is?

May you this week use what God has given you to make a significant impact on those that surround you. So until the next time this is Pastor Tello reminding you that...Thoughts do change lives!
