I grew up at a time when cartoons were the means of communication that changed my world. One cartoon that caught the wonder of my mind was the special A Charlie Brown Christmas. Did you know that this first aired on December 9, 1965, on American Television and instantly became a holiday classic? It did. It became historic from that point forward.

Did you also know that on December 9, 1868, the world's first traffic light was erected near Westminster Bridge in London? It was shortly removed a month later because it exploded after a gas leak caused one of the lights to explode. And what do these random facts have to do with December 9th? Nothing really. Just the fact that life happens on every day of the human experience.

Today is the 9th of December and as we are here at church, we are desiring to hear the Word of God. We are desiring to know the Will of God. We are willing to follow the ways of God. Your desire to hear, know and follow the Master Jesus marks your life as something special. Just imagine what good can come form your life on this day in December!

As the weather worsens, and the nights grow colder, you can warm the hearts of those that come in contact with you. How? By making history with the life you have been given to live. By sharing a message of hope to someone you talked to. By extending a hand to someone in need. December is a time when the human heart freely gives. May you give of all that the Master has given unto you.

May you make a difference in someone's life today!

So, until the next time, this is Pastor Tello reminding you that thoughts do change lives.
