Jonathan Lockwood Huie, author, shares this thought, "Celebrate endings - for they precede new beginnings." We have come to the last day of the month of December. The last day of the year 2022. For many of us, 2022 has many memories. Some good. Some bad. Some awful. And some absolutely amazing.
What can be said about endings is the reality that they give birth to new beginnings. What new beginnings are in store for you in 2023? I don't know. What I do know is that a desire for a closer walk with the Master Jesus will result in a 2023 that will be unforgettable. Ellen G. White asks a question for us today:
"Where are you standing, brethren and sisters? Do you take hold of the death of Christ by faith and make it your salvation? Then we have made a new beginning and all our past life is as though it had not been. It is God's life we are to live. God wants us to keep walking right along with Him." 9LtMs 15, 1894, par 23.
On this last day of 2022, may you walk right along with Jesus. Make Him your friend. Make Him your confidante. Make Him your God! Live 2023 for God and watch your life find the meaning and significance you have been looking for.
