Spent Week With Parents

From July 8-15, I was privileged to visit the state of Florida and spend a week with my parents. Seeing them again after so long made me realize that I need to re-prioritize my schedule to make sure that I'm able to see my parents more often. Here's what I learned from visiting them:

Lesson #1: Florida is WAY TOO HOT! How human beings purposely live in the state of Florida is beyond my understanding. And to think I grew up in Florida! My childhood was shared between New York and Cape Coral Florida. But having spent so many years away from Florida, I was shocked how HOT that state is! I learned to love where I live now!

Lesson #2: Always take a direct flight to Florida from our valley. Having connecting flights was a total and utter nightmare. On my way there and on my way back, I ran through the airport tying to make my connecting flights. Almost running people over as I ran is not how I want to spend my vacation.

Lesson #3: Savor every moment with your loved ones! Seeing my again parents in their Floridian element made me realize that I don't have many years left with them. I have learned that every year that passes we all get older, sicker, and life changes so much. Learn to savor each moment with those you love . . . for you never know when it will be your last time with them.

This Sabbath, savor this moment with the Master Jesus. It's His day, and He is inviting you to share in His love so that you can learn the lessons you need to learn to hasten the coming of our Master Jesus!

So, until the next time, this is Pastor Tello reminding you that thoughts do change lives!
